Superstars light up Birju video
There’s no doubt that star power is what attracts the audience to a film and this recently released music video has that, and then some!
#BollyTalks was front and center when we heard there was going to be a video done for Birju, a song for the upcoming movie Hey Bro with a few of our favourite stars in it. But what we didn’t know was that it was going to have five big ones!
The song was written by Pranav Vatsa, done by Mika Singh and features Udit Narayan. The video hit Youtube last Thursday and was announced by Mika who tweeted: “All Superstars in one video.
My latest song #Birju” along with the link. And he was not joking! Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh were all in it! Dance legends Prabhudheva and Ganesh Acharya were also involved in this attractive video.
We thought Ranveer’s styling could have been a little more appealing but he looks good in whatever he wears, and the zipped-up jacket and round-framed grey glasses with that snap back looked great as he “rapped.”
The Bollywood actors played-up the song with a comical flair, “asking a certain Birju—whose identity is not revealed in the video—to return bangles with lyrics ‘Maa ke kangan wapis karde re.’”
At the time of writing, the video had a little under 45,000 views with mostly good comments and tons of “lol” moments by viewers who enjoyed the rap (done by Arya and Naezy) and thought the video was hilarious.
It’s catchy and the eye candy is well worth it. Hey Bro, you’ve done well.
